Xi-WangmuGoddess of Immortality and ruler of the western paradise, She lived in a palace made entirely of peaches, and the smell of it could put even the unhappiest person to sleep. She has a peach tree that every three thousand years makes a peach that grants immortality. She is the patron goddess to peach pit carvers. Xi-Wangmu was once mistaken for the Jade Emperor's wife. In the earliest descriptions of her she was a firece goddess with the teeth of a tiger but then she became a peacefull goddess of immortality. She once caused trouble, but then became a Goddess.
